He fits a boatload of different character concepts, and requires no gluing. Very little flash was present when I bought him, and he's very steady on his base (despite looking front-heavy); however, his knife blade snapped off. It didn't bend though, so it was easy to reattach; also, with the various weapon packs, it would probably be easy to convert his weapon thanks to how he holds it. The mini also painted easily and contrasts its detail well. He's got a brittle weapon, but is otherwise a solid and versatile buy.
